Dr. Kindberg
Dr. Dana Kindberg, an optometrist, started her practice at LensCrafters in Redmond Town Center on April 1, 2014. Since then Dr. Kindberg and her staff have invested much time and effort in updating the systems, technology, services and patient experience at the practice.

Dr. Kindberg's focus is treating your family's eye care needs. Her expertise along with her caring and compassionate demeanor puts her patients at ease while her expertise and knowledge ensure excellent patient care.

Dr. Kindberg remains committed to adhering to the clinic's core value of excellent medical eye care and each patient's best vision.

After graduation from Shorecrest high school in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Kindberg got her BA in psychology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

Working for LensCrafters, Dr. Kindberg got involved in the Gift of Sight program as a clinic manager and traveled throughout the US and worldwide conducting clinics at witnessing the power of good vision has to change so many lives. In 2006, she resigned from her position and was accepted to Optometry School at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. Upon graduation, Dr. Kindberg returned to the Seattle area and worked in various offices. When the opportunity came about to open her own practice, Dr. Kindberg jumped at the chance to be involved in the Redmond community and make positive changes in the lives of its residents.

Dr. Kindberg grew up the middle child of 3 girls in Tucson, AZ. All the while visiting extended family and learning to love the Pacific Northwest. She was married in 2015 and lives in her family's home.

Dr. Kindberg is an Optometrist, a member of the American Academy of Optometry & American Optometric associations. She has a passion for helping each and every patient to make sure that their eyes are healthy and that they can see clearly. She is kind (as her name says), patient & knowledgeable.
Dr. Dinh
Dr. Nghiem Dinh was raised in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. He completed his bachelors of science from California State University Poly- Pomona, majoring in business marketing and continued on to Southern California College of Optometry.

Dr. Dinh enjoys the patient interaction and believes in listening to patient concerns to provide excellent care. He enjoys watching and playing sports, hiking, camping, cooking, snowboarding, Disneyland and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Liu
Dr. Aimee Liu was born in Seattle and raised on the eastside in the Bellevue and Sammamish areas. She completed her Bachelors of Arts in biology at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and continued on to obtain her degree in optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.

After graduating with honors, she returned home to Washington to be closer to her family. Whether it means adapting to your first pair of glasses at age five or age fifty, finding the best fit for contact lenses or managing more complex issues like dry eye, a sudden red eye, or chronic disease, Dr. Liu compassionately guides patients through every aspect of primary ocular care.
 Her priority is to adapt her treatment plan to each patient’s individual needs in order to achieve the best care possible. When she is not working, Dr. Liu spends time with friends and family making too much food, bird watching, hiking or enjoying a good movie. 
Dr. Sheppard

Dr. Sheppard is a licensed Optometric Physician in the state of Washington and has joined Dana Kindberg Optometry practice in 2017. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Colorado University in Denver, CO, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in New York, NY. Since graduating,

Dr. Sheppard has worked in various clinical settings in the states of NY and CT and has recently moved to Seattle area to join her family. Her training and experience allows her to diagnose and treat many red eye conditions, dry eyes, perform CL evaluations (including Ortho-K therapy for myopia control) and pediatric exams and provide appropriate referral services for surgical care.

Dr. Sheppard is highly skilled, compassionate and committed to providing every patient with the highest quality of care. She is originally from Belarus and speaks English and Russian fluently. As well in her spare time enjoys karaoke, archery, knitting, dance fitness and traveling.
Carissa was born and raised in the Seattle area and brings a vibrant energy to the office daily. Carissa is our billing specialist and can help you with any questions regarding insurance, scheduling, and billing. Carissa previously worked for the Four Seasons spa, so if you need any recommendations for where to get the best facial, she's got that covered too!
Meet Michael! Michael has been in the optical industry for several years and is our contact lens specialist. He has a great ability to help you with all your contact lens needs. When he is not working in the office, you can find Michael watching a game, Mariners or Seahawks, hiking trails in the area or working on the house he just purchased. Michael is well-traveled, having spent time in Japan earlier this year with his mother.
Meet Lauren! Lauren is new to the optical industry but has a passion for helping people of all ages and backgrounds. Earlier this year she completed a six month stay in Peru teaching English as a second language. Lauren has a kind demeanor that endears patients to her. Lauren loves the outdoors, camping, hiking and exploring.
Katherine was born and raised in the Seattle area, and has enjoyed being part of the optical industry for many years. When not at work she is busy spending time with her two granddaughters and her two kittens. Katherine also enjoys baking, reading, walking and exploring our beautiful area.

Barbie, born in South Korea, was adopted and raised in the Seattle area. While growing up, she was very competitive in gymnastics. After graduation, she moved to Arizona where she met her husband. Together, they moved to Kansas where she began raising their children.

She has recently moved back to the Seattle area to be closer to family and the home she grew up in. Barbie has been in the Optometry industry on and off over the years, and is very excited to be a part of Dr. Dana Kindberg Optometry. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, she also likes to read a good book, write poetry and bake lots of goodies for people!

Faiza was born in Kenya and moved to Seattle about nine years ago. She is currently pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Arts Special Education instructor for students with mild to moderate disabilities in hopes of changing the lives of these children and their families.

Faiza worked at Lens Crafters as a dispensing optician and eye wear consultant. Being an advocate for underprivileged she is constantly striving to improve her knowledge in the realm of optics by volunteering at King County Clinic to help those in need from all walks of life alongside other doctors.

Being the oldest of seven siblings, it is important to her to be a role model for the younger ones. She encounters busy weeks that require more time at school/work, she want them to know that the work is meaningful to her, and that she is proud of the work she does. It is her hope that as her siblings grow up, they are inspired to find a path that fulfills them and they are passionate about.  

Alex was born and raised in the Midwest, and relocated to the Seattle area a few years ago. She is new to the optical industry, but experienced in the medical industry. She has an upbeat attitude and a passion for helping people! When she’s not at the office, you can find her enjoying a good book, painting, and finding the next best hiking spot.

Collete relocated to Seattle from Phoenix with her family and her boxer Lilly in 2016. During her short time in the area she has developed a passion for several outdoor activities including hiking and snowboarding. Collete has several years of experience in both the hospitality and medical industries which is evident in her passion for helping others and her ability to work well with others. When not working you might find Collete out dancing. Salsa is her favorite!
