How Does Ocular Aesthetics Work?
By delivering gentle pulses to heat your skin gently, this process increases your skin temperature for a prescribed period of time. This heat triggers the body’s natural reaction to produce new collagen. New collagen fibers are tighter and denser.
If you are suffering from dry eye disease, this also stimulates clogged tear glands, which produce essential oils in your tears. After your treatment, we will provide recommendations and supplements for you to further improve the quality of your tears - reducing recurrences of dry eye symptoms.
What to Expect
When you come in for your consultation we will discuss your goals and create a custom treatment plan for you. During your treatment, you will experience a gentle warming sensation in the treated area around your eyes and face.
